ABOUT ALAN ROSE

Alan was born and raised in rural Nebraska. Following a stint in the Navy, he moved to Chicago, where he graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Over the years Alan made a living in the graphic design/illustration field, working mainly in the Pacific Northwest. In 2007 he resigned from his position as art director for a medical instrument manufacturer and returned to his passion, full-time painting. Alan lives in Portland, Oregon.
